Our story
Above Kaštel Sućurac, beneath the old church of St George, the hill of Putalj has carried vines since the early Middle Ages — its name first written down in the charter of Croatian Duke Trpimir in 852.
This is where our family has grown wine for more than a century. Stone, salt wind and Adriatic sun shape two indigenous reds — Crljenak Kaštelanski, the original Zinfandel, and its descendant Plavac Mali. Every bottle is crafted by winemaker Anton Kovač and family, from pruning to cork.

01 — The original
Kaštelanski Crljenak
Our signature red — rich, structured and bold, made from the very grape the world calls Zinfandel and Kaštela calls its own. Dark berries, pepper and warm Mediterranean herbs over firm, sun-ripened tannin.
02 — The heir
Crljenak × Dobričić
A bold red showcasing Dalmatian terroir — the natural descendant of Crljenak Kaštelanski. Sour cherry, carob and salt-stone minerality; the son carrying the father's signature.
